My name is David Rowe and I have been in the construction industry for over 30 years.   Through those years I have used many types of modern technology in my business such as: email, spread sheets, computer filing systems, etc.   I began to realize how disjointed everything was and how the more technology I used, the more spread out my information became.  I thought with all these different tools available there should a way to manage my construction projects, communicate with all involved and otherwise run my construction business with accuracy and in a complete manner so I created Organized Builder.

For the last few years, I have been working with a team of highly skilled software developers, and we have created Organized Builder, a Business Management System for Custom Builders and Remodeling contractors.   Organized Builder was created for companies that are highly involved in every detail of every project they do.   From the beginning to the end of a project, Organized Builder is a powerful tool to have in your tool box.

As you well know, an accurate and complete estimate is the first step to a good profit margin.  Organized Builder helps you create that.  Good communication with everyone involved in the project as well as the ability to share important project documents (even when things change mid-way) is critical to your project’s happy completion.  Organized Builder handles all of that.  Change orders and allowance adjustments can sometimes be a real problem if they are not kept up with; Organized Builder helps you accomplish this also.  Good and accurate job cost tracking will keep you up to the moment with the financial situation of each project you are working on,  and with Organized Builder, all of this information is at your fingertips.  All you need is a computer and internet access and because Organized Builder is Cloud-based Custom Home Builder Software, you don’t need to download any software.

We have been using Organized Builder for our construction company for the past year.  My office manager uses it in the office, and I keep it beside me in my truck.  It is so handy to have it with me when I walk on a job and have the electrician ask me the amp draw of the A/C system. With a few clicks on my IPAD,  I have the answer because my HVAC contractor had uploaded the information when he submitted his bid or when my cabinet maker has laid out for his cabinets and he had all the appliance information right on his computer.  We really began seeing the advantages of using Organized Builder as work is picking up again and we need to stay on top of several jobs at once.  We are managing our projects and business, as a whole, better than ever with far less effort than at any time in the past thanks to our use of Organized Builder.
